Eva Longoria wasn’t the bride this time, but she sure did her best to make the Mexican beach wedding of her pal Mario Lopez fun and festive.
“Extra” and “X Factor” host Lopez and Courtney Mazza — mom of their toddler daughter Gia — tied the knot at the Mexico estate of “Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis Saturday.
Judging by Eva’s tweets, describing the event as “hot,” it sure sounded like a blast.
Viewers will be able to watch the whole thing — from planning to execution — in a two-hour TV special later this week. “Mario & Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta” will air from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday on TLC.

The couple’s 2-year-old daughter acted as flower girl and Longoria was a bridesmaid, according to the Hollywood Reporter and In Touch Weekly. Eva donned a stunning, one-shouldered blue dress for the occasion.
Longoria brought her mom along to the sunset wedding which began with a reverent vows-exchange in front of a Catholic priest, whom Mario flew in for the ceremony in Punta Mita, Mexico. Then came the fun: nighttime fireworks, a feast of fish, chicken and pasta and lots of salsa dancing.
According to In Touch, a honeymoon for the two will have to wait, however, considering how busy these days Lopez is with his TV hosting duties.
